"Jaiden is incredible, I've honestly never had a better massage. She knew exactly what was going on when I explained my painful points. I left feeling so much better."
Prenatal Massage · Salt Lake City
A downtown Salt Lake massage studio open since 2017. Licensed therapists, massage only, and a clear line about what we do not do.

J Massage SLC opened in 2017 and has been in the same downtown building since. It is a massage studio. Not a medical clinic, not a wellness center with a menu that sprawls in six directions, and not a franchise with a script. Nine years in one place, doing one kind of work.
Every therapist on our staff holds an active Utah massage therapy license issued by the Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing. That is a state credential with continuing education behind it and a board that can pull it. All of them carry full professional liability insurance. Dress code, conduct standards, and client confidentiality are enforced as employment conditions, not posted as aspirations.
We employ both male and female licensed therapists on purpose. Preference about who works on your body is legitimate, it is nobody's business why you hold it, and pregnancy tends to make people more particular about it rather than less. Book the one you want.
Sheets and coverings are replaced and sanitized after every single client, without exception. There is no version of our turnover where a linen gets reused because the day is running behind.
What we do not do is as important. This address performs massage only. There are no facials here, no head spa, no reflexology room. If a search brought you to us expecting skincare, we are the wrong studio and we would rather say it in the first minute than sell you something adjacent.
We also do not practice medicine. Nobody at this studio will assess your pregnancy, interpret something your provider told you, or advise you on whether bodywork is a good idea in your circumstances. Those judgments belong to an obstetrician or a midwife. Our therapists are trained to work gently with a pregnant body in a side-lying position. That training is about technique and comfort, not diagnosis, and we are careful about the difference because the alternative is a studio quietly playing doctor.
The prenatal session itself is $105 for an hour, and the studio takes clients every day of the week from ten in the morning until ten at night. Parking at the building costs nothing.
Our Google rating is 4.4 across 516 reviews, which we publish as it stands.
The reason a prenatal page exists on its own is simple. It is a different setup from the rest of our menu, it takes a therapist who is comfortable with it, and the questions people ask before booking are unlike anything else we get asked. Putting it in a list with nine other modalities did not serve anybody who was actually pregnant and trying to decide.
To reach us, call (801) 288-1118 or write to [email protected]. Someone answers the phone during open hours, and it is faster than the email.

"Not just the massage you want, but the massage your body needs. Tony's combination of pressure, stretching, and massage bordered on chiropractic physical therapy."

"After a day of skiing in Salt Lake City, I had a deep tissue massage and Tony's technique was fantastic. Very professional, accurately locating my sore muscles."
